GET INVOLVED

Faithful in the Small Things, Together

There are many ways to be part of The Wildflower Project. Whether you give, volunteer, create, partner, help serve your community, or simply share our mission, each act of faithfulness can help strengthen the people and organizations serving young people. As a newly established nonprofit, some opportunities are still being developed. If an area interests you, we would love to hear from you.

Give & Support

Financial gifts and donated resources help Wildflower support approved youth-serving organizations, programs, and charitable projects as funding and capacity allow. Ways to help may include:

  • Make a one-time or recurring donation
  • Give supplies or approved in-kind resources
  • Support an approved Wildflower campaign or program
  • Contribute to the General Scholarship Fund
  • Help share Wildflower’s mission

Volunteer

Wildflower will rely on people who are willing to give their time, experience, creativity, and practical skills. Volunteer opportunities may develop around:

  • fundraising and events
  • administrative help
  • youth-safety and training resources
  • community outreach
  • program support
  • communications
  • special projects

Because some Wildflower roles may involve youth, finances, organizational authority, or confidential information, screening and training requirements will vary by role.

Become a Wildflower Representative

Wildflower’s Representative Program is being developed to help trusted local leaders connect the organization with needs, opportunities, churches, ministries, programs, and partners in their communities.

  • identify local youth-serving needs
  • build relationships with organizations
  • support approved Wildflower campaigns
  • review or recommend support requests
  • connect communities with Wildflower resources
  • represent Wildflower responsibly in approved activities

The Representative Program is currently developing. Expressing interest does not constitute appointment or authorization to act on behalf of The Wildflower Project.

Makers & Vendors

Creative people and businesses can play an important role in Wildflower’s work. As the Maker Program develops, approved makers and vendors may create products, provide services, contribute items, participate in fundraising efforts, or work with Wildflower through documented vendor or maker arrangements.

All official maker and vendor relationships will be subject to appropriate agreements, pricing or donation documentation, conflict-of-interest safeguards, and financial controls.

Partner With Wildflower

We want to work alongside churches, youth ministries, camps, nonprofits, schools where appropriate, businesses, and community organizations that care about young people.

  • co-sponsoring approved programs or events
  • fundraising collaborations
  • sharing training or resources
  • in-kind goods or services
  • sponsorships
  • helping connect youth-serving programs with useful resources

Sponsorships

Businesses, churches, organizations, and community supporters may be able to help Wildflower through approved sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships may support programs, events, fundraising efforts, resources, training, or other approved charitable activities.

Wildflower will distinguish charitable sponsorship support from advertising or other benefits when required for proper tax and financial reporting.

Training & Youth-Safety Resources

Wildflower is developing practical training and resources for churches, ministries, volunteers, and youth-serving organizations. Future opportunities may include:

  • Wildflower training events
  • youth-safety education
  • volunteer and leadership training
  • fundraising and partnership education
  • practical program resources
  • host-site opportunities

Training programs are still being developed. Certificates of completion, where offered, do not represent legal certification, a background check, employment recommendation, or authorization to work with minors.

There Is a Place to Help

You do not have to do everything to make a difference. Sometimes faithfulness looks like giving. Sometimes it looks like serving, creating, connecting, teaching, praying, sharing a need, or simply helping someone else learn about the work. If you would like to explore where you may fit, we would be glad to hear from you.
